Tradesmen International – Social Media Internship
June 2026 – August 2026
This position was a remote opportunity that allowed me to elevate my skills in copywriting, graphic design, and other vital skills for media production and social media as a whole. In this role, I developed ideas for social content from concept to execution through multiple stages of review and feedback. I handled the creation and organization of visual assets, including infographics, carousel posts, and short promo videos. I also wrote engaging captions and short-form social copy to further elevate the brand’s social presence. This work culminated in curating work for the launch of the company’s Instagram page, which consisted of a mix of reformatted, pre-existing work, and entirely new video and graphical content.
The following is not an exhaustive list of every project I engaged in, but rather a selection of what I consider to be my best work from this internship.

July 4th/America’s 250th – Trade Highlight Timeline Carousels
The following slideshows present a series of carousel posts for publishing to the Tradesmen International LinkedIn page as part of observing July 4th/America’s 250th Birthday. All included images were derived from internal sources and verified public domain and/or royalty-free image sites. Composed in Canva.
Past Project Highlights – Project Portfolio Carousels
The following slideshows present a series of carousel posts for publishing on the Tradesmen International LinkedIn page, highlighting past construction projects for which Tradesmen craftsmen were hired, spanning various scales and industries. Vertical versions were created later as additional content for the upcoming launch of the company’s Instagram page. All included images were derived from internal sources and verified public domain and/or royalty-free image sites. Composed in Canva.
Quarterly Value Awards Badges
The following galleries present various designs for badges to be displayed during the Quarterly Value Awards, in which team members who demonstrated exemplary work in practicing essential values in the industry would receive digital copies of these badges, which were visualized as being easily adaptable onto various pieces of merchandise. Numerous versions of styles, word choices, and other details were suggested, leading to various iterations being put out for the rest of the marketing team to decide on the selected design. Below is the collection of final designs following feedback requesting a “more industrial” look. Composed in Canva.

Video Content
Pass the Hard Hat Series – San Diego Team
This short promo video was the first in what was conceptualized as an ongoing series dubbed “Pass the Hard Hat,” which would serve to introduce the teams located at the various brick-and-mortar Tradesmen offices located throughout the country. The footage was provided to me by my supervisor, and I was assigned full editing responsibilities. The video was composed to align with the Instagram Reels-specific safe zone in anticipation of the Instagram page launch. Composed in CapCut and Canva.
Instagram Story Post – Meet the Divisions
This animated, vertically formatted post was created to provide an introduction to the several divisions and industries for which Tradesmen provides staffing services. I implemented animations to smoothly transition between slides in the Instagram Story format, as well as make the content viable to post to Instagram Reels if the marketing team chose to do so for extra content during the launch. Composed in Canva.

The Museum of Science – Digital A/V Intern
May 2025 – August 2025
This was an in-person role that had me assisting in the production of short, medium, and long-form content serving to promote the live events and educational work at the museum. Working under one of the full-time producers on the MOS Digital team, I engaged in camera operation, equipment assembly/disassembly, and audio & voiceover recording in dedicated studio space and at on-location shoots daily. I was also given full post-production responsibility for certain projects, where I learned about the application of file ingestion and organization, text editing, color grading, and audio mixing. I grew comfortable managing multiple video projects at once under multiple deadlines and stages of feedback, and was flexible when faced with implementing last-minute changes requested by upper management.
The following is not an exhaustive list of every project I engaged in, but rather a selection of what I consider to be my best work from this internship. For an exhaustive list of all publicly released work I contributed to, please refer to this YouTube playlist.
Short-form Video Content
Weird Animal Adaptations – Leopard Gecko
Videos featuring animals under the museum’s care were always my personal favorites to work on. These videos simultaneously served as bite-sized lessons about the ways animals adapt to thrive in the wild, as well as highlight the live animal demonstrations hosted by the museum during visiting hours. This was among the first projects I had full editing responsibilities for, as well as the first project that I was on set during the initial shoot for as an assisting camera operator. All Weird Animal Adaptation videos were adapted for both horizontal and vertical formats to enable cross-platform posting. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. Thumbnail composed in Canva.
My credits: Assistant camera operator, production assistant, lead editor.
Weird Animal Adaptations – Curlyhair Tarantula
Due to logistical issues during the initial shoot, I have more significant production credits on this project due to leading the reshoot when all producers were busy on other assignments. All b-roll shown in this video was shot by me, with me assisting in gathering the wide-shot footage. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. Thumbnail composed in Canva.
My credits: Lead camera operator, assistant camera operator, gaffer, lead editor.
Experiments with Liquid Nitrogen – LED Color Change
This video was part of a series of projects shot and edited far ahead of time as material for posting during the holiday season due to the cold, wintry nature of liquid nitrogen. These videos also served to highlight the live science experiment demonstrations hosted at the museum during visiting hours. While I was no longer an intern by the time these videos were posted, I nevertheless had credit for filming, editing, and preparing them to be completely ready for publication in the months to come. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. Thumbnail composed in Canva.
My credits: Assistant camera operator, assistant lighting technician, production assistant, lead editor.
Experiments with Liquid Nitrogen – Exploding Balloon
Another video from the Liquid Nitrogen series. This one was a particularly fun challenge to film due to the determination to get the timing of the balloon popping to align with the script as the educator was reading it. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. Thumbnail composed in Canva.
My credits: Assistant camera operator, assistant lighting technician, production assistant, lead editor.
Long-form Video Content
The Big Question – José M. Hernández
The Big Question is a series of long-form interviews chronicling the lives and achievements of visiting scientific figures as they are interviewed by the MOS team. This interview was filmed before the beginning of my internship, but the footage was handed to me as one of my first main editing projects. I implemented cuts to remove dead air and to smoothly integrate all camera angles into the full interview, and integrated an engaging start to the video through the ‘In this Episode’ segment. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
My credits: Lead editor.
The Big Question – Deblina Sarkar
I was present during the shooting of this interview, in which I was in charge of manning Camera B, which faced the interviewer. I was tasked with monitoring audio levels, framing, and battery levels to warn of upcoming battery changes during the shoot. I was then given full editing responsibilities similar to the Hernández project. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
My credits: Camera B operator, lead editor.
